Created in lockdown, the video for ‘Head Over Heels’ is a descent into isolation driven apathy, focusing on the madness in the mundane. Closer to PS2 than uncanny valley, a creepy lip-syncing digital double of the artist attempts everyday activities, animated horribly with brute force physics simulations and descending ever deeper into chaos. Backed by a catchy melancholic pop track, it’s a slow-burning grotesque video that leaves no one feeling good.
