SHÉ
VFX
2023

We have had the pleasure to supervise the VFX process on this award-winning short film by Renee Zhan.

When pressures mount on a tightly wound violinist in a London youth orchestra, internal monsters take external forms in Renee Zhan’s wildly creative combination of horror comedy and teenage psychodrama.

This imaginative tale required blending together live action footage and stop motion animation and we were proud to join the wonderful crew of SHÉ and help with VFX. The film premiered at ’23 Toronto International Film Festival and has since screened at many festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Melbourne, Palm Springs, Shortsfest and LSFF among others. It is available on BBC iPlayer.
